We host an NRA-affiliated shooting club.  Our club is also affiliated with the CMP (Civilian Marksmanship Program).

SULLIVAN FARMS

RECREATIONAL SHOOTING AREA

OFFERING….

  • 200-yard rifle range with berms at 100 and 200 yards.  Steel targets remain posted at both target lines.  Covered firing line on a 50’x16′ raised deck.
  • 50-yard rimfire rifle and and bullseye handgun range with target lines at 25 and 50 yards.  This range’s firing line is also positioned on a raised, covered deck.
  • Four pistol bays with distances of up to 35 yards.  Steel targets – both reactive and static remain set up for member use.  Portable frames for paper targets are available on-site.
  • 5-Stand covered shotgun deck for shooting clays.  There is a 3/4-cock manual sit-on thrower mounted on a platform at each end of the deck for member use.  Members must provide their own clays targets.  Atlas brand AT250 trap machines are also positioned on the field.  Each of these traps holds 250 clays.  The center trap is positioned 16 yards from the deck and is a Tri-Axis wobbler machine with oscillating and both side to side and front to rear tilting capabilities.  The other two throwers are positioned to the right and left of the field for crossing patterns.
  • Our archery area is usable and bag targets are available but this part of our range it is still under development.  We plan to construct a backstop and add 3D targets to our offerings.  Crossbows must be used on one of the rifle ranges and shooters must provide their own targets at this time.
  • A trap range is currently under development.

We have volunteer pro-staff and equipment on-hand to help you meet your program’s requirements, as well.

Youth Membership is FREE! Regardless of whether the family has a membership, youth may be enrolled by their parents and participate in age-appropriate club-sponsored activities, events, and programs. Youth membership provides the following benefits:

  • Parents are notified directly by email about youth activities, events, and programs.
  • Parents do not have to complete club forms each time their child participates.
  • Youth members compete in the annual “Club Member Championship” shooting event.

Youth Membership Enrollment Forms are available online or for printing at the link below. You may submit them when your child arrives at an activity or anytime before. We do not charge fees for youth participation whether the youth is a member or not.

CLUB MEMBERSHIP
ADULTS and FAMILIES

Our main objective as a shooting club is to create a safe shooting environment that provides a level of convenience that encourages members – especially families – to spend more time outdoors participating in shooting sports activities.

Membership provides access to all designated shooting areas at Sullivan Farms, as well as any other shooting ranges we may develop in the future regardless of where they may be located.  Membership fees provide direct support for range upkeep and maintenance and continued range development.

Family membership includes:

  • Up to two adult family members
  • All children in the home under age 18 (accompanied by parent/guardian)
  • Children 18+ who are attending school or who have special needs and are dependent upon the parents (with an adult eligibility affidavit).
  • Any other children in the extended family – grandchildren, nieces, nephews, etc.  Just be sure to complete a youth membership application for them and have their parent/guardian sign the waivers.
  • Members may bring non-member adult guests for a couple visits at no additional charge.  Guests must be accompanied by an adult member. After a guest has visited the ranges a couple times, they are expected to seek membership or pay the day-use fee.

Family membership requirements:

  • Complete the family membership application
  • Each adult must complete an “Adult Eligibility Affidavit”.
  • At least one adult family member must complete a range safety orientation with a designated pro-staff member.
  • Pay the annual membership dues of $240.   Dues may be paid online on the “PAYMENTS” page of this site, may be paid by check payable to Square1 Outdoors, Inc., or may be paid by $20 monthly bank draft.  If you choose to pay by draft, we will email the draft form to you.

There are no membership dues for active military or emergency responder families, but all other member requirements apply.

Contact Range Master David Ramseyer for more information about membership or to schedule an orientation.
